About To Have and To Travel

Hi, I’m Natalie—a detail-lover, travel planner, and relationship-first person who believes that meaningful travel doesn’t have to be stressful. I created To Have and To Travel to help you plan trips that feel easy, thoughtful, and deeply personal.

Whether you're planning a special occasion or just carving out space to reconnect, I’m here to lighten the load and handle the logistics—so you can focus on the people, places, and experiences that matter most.

Why I Do This Work

I believe that travel can be transformative. A great trip can deepen a relationship, shift your perspective, or give you space to breathe. But planning one? That part can feel overwhelming—especially when your life is already full.

That’s where I come in. I love creating order from chaos and tuning into what people actually need—not just what the internet says they should do. If you're navigating family dynamics, celebrating a milestone, or just craving rest, I’ll help you plan something that truly fits.

My Approach

Calm. Collaborative. Concierge-Level Support.

I take time to understand your travel style, pace, priorities, and preferences. I’ll never send you a cookie-cutter itinerary or pressure you to upgrade. Instead, I work alongside you to build something intentional—layered with experiences that make sense for your life.

Connection-First Planning

Travel isn't just about ticking boxes. I believe the best trips are the ones where you feel connected: to your people, your surroundings, and even to yourself. I want you to come home feeling full—not fried.

What You Can Expect

  • Thoughtful, personalized planning for every trip
  • Respect for your budget, boundaries, and bandwidth
  • Clear communication and steady support from start to finish
  • A calm, human-first experience—always

A Bit More About Me:

When I’m not planning dream vacations, you can find me exploring new destinations, cheering on my favorite college football teams, enjoying movies (and obsessively logging them on Letterboxd), or soaking in live music. I love blending tradition with new ideas — in travel and in life — and I bring that same thoughtful mix to every itinerary I build.

Outside of travel, I work in operations and administrative support for a nonprofit that advocates for fair labor practices in the agricultural supply chain. I'm also an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), which has deeply shaped how I think about meaningful connection. Ministry, for me, is about meeting people where they are, listening closely, and honoring what matters most to them. That desire to help others feel seen and supported is a big part of why I started this business.

I live in Denton, Texas, with my partner and our dog Stevie (named after Stevie Budd from Schitt's Creek, not Nicks).

Planning something big or small? Headed somewhere far-flung or close to home? I’d be honored to help you make it intentional and joy-filled.
